Jacob Korenblum – CEO and Team Leader – AidLink Partnerships Jacob leads Souktel’s outreach to the humanitarian aid sector, building on his prior experience managing economic development and emergency relief projects for contractors to the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). A fluent speaker of Arabic, Jacob has worked in the emergency aid sectors in Palestine, Iraq, Morocco, Egypt and Jordan–as well as East Africa, South Asia, and the Caribbean. His work as a Souktel co-founder has been profiled by Reuters, the UK’s Guardian newspaper, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and Canada’s leading daily, the National Post. Jacob holds an Ed.M. from Harvard University, where he also served as a Harvard Reynolds Foundation Fellow in Social Enterprise from 2005-06.
